MORE than $1 million worth of factory units at Biggera Waters has been sold in one week by Ray White Commercial Runaway Bay.
The four properties, part of a factory precinct on Brisbane Rd, were sold by Ray White Commercial Runaway Bay Commercial Manager Larry Dean for $1.035 million. Mr Dean said three of the strata factory units were sold prior to auction while a fourth went to auction and was passed in but was sold five days later.
“To be able to sell all of these properties within the one week is a tremendous result in what remains a challenging market,” he said.
The top price achieved was $310,000 for a unit on a 350sq m title at 16/239 Brisbane Rd, which was purchased from Miami Longboards by an undisclosed self-managed superannuation fund. He said an adjoining 185sq m unit at 15/239 Brisbane Rd was sold prior to auction for $285,000 and the other two properties were a 150sq m unit at 1/227a Brisbane Rd and a 97sq m unit at 21/227a Brisbane Rd, which were sold for $260,000 and $180,000 respectively.
